The MINIROK 60 is the engine with which Vortex enters the world of the younger. Built according to the new CSAI FIK technical rules of the Italian MINI 60 and BABY 60 categories, the Minirok is a completely innovative engine for the younger!

Vortex has developed two Minirok engines:
MINIROK MINI 60 and MINIROK BABY 60: the two versions differ from one another incarburettor and exhaust.

MINIROK BABY 60: supplied with carburettor Ø 14mm and baby exhaust (reduced power); dedicated to the youngest; it is the entry level in the karting world.

MINIROK MINI 60: supplied with carburettor Ø 18mm and mini exhaust; it is the second step in competitions, usually from 9 to 12 years old drivers.

Technical characteristics:
It is a piston port engine cooled air free typical of the karting school, where the body and the finning have been dimensioned in order to obtain the greatest thermic and dimensional stability, paying particular attention to the most stressed part near the
exhaust.
The constructive architecture of the engine is that of a high performance engine: the gravity chill castings, the cast iron liner with a great thickness, the head with the radial fins, the crankcase with wide air passages for the cooling are only some of the characteristics that have been moved into this project.
Also the cycle of the mechanical manufacturing is exactly that, which helps the engines of superior categories to reach the
performing levels that we can see nowadays.
The centrifugal clutch with monolithic rotor and the electric starter on board complete the configuration of an engine expressly born for the competitions and, at the same time, reliable and easy to drive.
It’s important to underline that thanks to this manufacturing method, all the engines have the same performances and this keeps the qualitative standard high and constant.

ROK is a 125cc single-cylinder 2 stroke engine by Vortex, with reed valve admission in the crankcase. It is mixturelubricated and liquid-cooled with integrated water pump.
It has got a digital ignition and an integrated electric starter, which the battery is dedicated to. It is provided with a balancer shaft, which reduces the vibrations.
A centrifugal dry clutch makes it possible to keep the engine on even when the kart is still.

The family’s elder brother, arrived in 2006, soon showed off its soul stronger than the Rok’s, with a manufacturing structure aimed at reaching high performances without losing its reliability. Stick with simplicity and easy-managing qualities, the Super Rok is addressed to those drivers who wish to challenge on a lively chassis. Once at the drive the horse power in addition worths it, in particular on fast tracks.  
Compared to the Rok, the Super has extreme technical features, but at the same time it keeps some specific affinities with its predecessor, Rok.

Rok and Super have in common the 125cc engine and the reed valve admission in the crankcase. The Super is provided with a reed valve and a 30mm Dell’Orto carburettor. The Super Rok cylinder, iron made, has a 5-transfer distribution system and a 3-light exhaust with pneumatic butterfly valve. 
It has a digital ignition and the exhaust has been properly designed for this engine, furthermore it is provided with an integrated silencer; last but not least, the centrifugal clutch has a monolithic rotor.

By the arrival of the new Rok Shifter, the Rok engine family is enriching. The new gear box engine completes the extraordinary Rok engine range.
Rok Shifter comes to the light to accomplish the needs of those several drivers who wish to compete in a category with the gear box, in a well-known and very well managed championship such as the Rok Cup, facing affordable expenses and steady regulations in the time. Rok Shifter engine comes from the long standing and winning Vortex experience in the field with the two-stroke-kart engines and just after the many times winning RVXX 125 engine.
Rok Shifter has been conceived and realized with the aim of starting a dedicated championship, the Rok Cup Shifter, where all drivers will compete by means of this precious jewel made in Vortex, mounted on chassis of different brands. With a displacement of 43 HP, the Rok Shifter is the best engine offering good performances and operating costs.

The ignition is analogic and the starter is electric with battery exclusively dedicated to this function.
It is equipped of dry centrifugal clutch that permits to keep the engine on even not running.
