The Rok is a 125cc single-cylinder 2 stroke engine by Vortex and it has three prized qualities for the present karting world which are: easiness
of use, high performances and relative low maintenance costs.
After a multi-year experience in the karting world, we in Vortex have created an engine which is easy to use and also exciting to drive.
Thanks to the centrifugal dry clutch, with the Rok 125cc it is possible to stop with the engine on.
On pushing the green button the engine starts without faltering and without the need for any other help.
The Rok has been made by paying great attention to every single detail; this is the most important quality characterizing all Vortex productions.
The balancer shaft reduces the negative vibrations and the rpm limiting device maintains the engine at 14.000 rpm; in this way it is possible
to keep prices low and extend the life of the engine.
The reed admission, the ø 30mm Dell’Orto carburettor and the water cooled by an integrated water pump inside the carter complete a refined and well calibrated technical package, guaranteeing a fantastic driving sensation which satisfies the driver makes him self-confident.

I am Mr. Rokker, the mascotte of the Rok Cup. My body is made of metal thread, I am fl exible and springy, in other words indestructible. I have pistons as neurons, created by my friends in Vortex, I chew chewing- gum absolutely Bridgestone, I am fashion addicted and I only wear Sparco clothes, my heart beats hard thank to a Dell’Orto!
From the moment I came to life, I did not rest
a moment: I am always travelling all over the
tracks of the World. Everybody wants me, everybody looks for me and cannot live without me! When boys and girls meet me, they fall victims of my overwhelming company…

HOW TO ATTEND THE ROK CUP

All Rok Cup races are held under the CSAI supervision (Italian National Sporting Authority).
To take part in the Rok Cup no registration is required, but to take part in the National Championship competitions (Italian Area-competitions) which means automatically enter the Rok family and the classifications. This is the only thing to do when striving for the conquest of the Rok prizes.
Registration to the race – Any Saturday or Sunday morning preceding the race entries are opened. When registering what you need is to provide documents as follows:

1) Liccense:

Mini Rok	A and D	between 9 and 13 years old
Junior Rok	C and D	between 12 and gli years old
Rok	C	from 15 years old
Rok	B	from 30 years old
Super Rok	B and C	from 15 years old

2) STATEMENT OF HEALTH FORM for COMPETITIVE SPORTING ACTIVITIES

3) ACI MEMBERSHIP CARD (Automobile Club Italia)

Rok Cup technical and sporting regulations are examined and approved by any of the National Federations, for this reason the Federation’s Representatives only have the right and the duty to make regulations applicable and to impose their respect
It is allowed to take part the Rok Cup races or with the driver’s own kart or by renting the kart in a Rok Center.
No further registration is needed, as well as no fees are requested to attend the Rok Cup Championship, but the registration to the single race.
By taking part in any of the races scheduled in the official Rok Cup calendar, drivers will automatically enter the Championship’s classification according to that race*.

HOW TO OBTAIN THE LICENSE

The Entrant license is a document issued by the National Sporting Authority (CSAI in Italy) attesting that the health form of the driver is suitable for attending any National and International competitive races.
To obtain the entrant license, the entry form must be presented to the applicant’s own town ACI offices (Automobile Club Italia)

Licenses include different levels, on the base of the drivers’ age as well as the level of competitions they can attend.
In order to take part in the race it is then mandatory to be in possession of both Entrant (1) and Driver’s (2) license

(1) Entrant may be a natural person or a body corporate (Sporting team, karting club etc…). Entrant is in charge of the driver’s registrations to the race and is responsible for him in front of the Sporting Authority. Adult drivers (more than 18 years old) may also be entrant of themselves.

(2) Driver is the person racing the competition. In case of U18 drivers, the entrant may be the driver’s parent, anybody with parental authority or a legal person.

DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED TO OBTAIN AN ENTRANT/DRIVER LICENSE:

Copy of the license fee payment
Statement of Health Form released by a Sporting Medical Center
Certificate of tetanus vaccine (only for applicants who are requesting the license for their first time)
ACI membership card (Adults only)
Authorization of the person in charge of the driver’s parental authority*
Identity card copy of the person in charge of the driver’s parental authority*
Birth certificate**

** U16 drivers only
