ROK CUP Romania: The championship comes back to the capital
All four ROK categories are in the heat of the battle for the 2021 titles as they head back to Bucharest for a second round on the AMC Kart racetrack that everyone knows very well from all the yearly practice.
Micro ROK saw Patrick Salistean (Autosally) undefeated in the first 6 races of the season, his closest rival being Razvan Ciobanu (Drinago Racing) on each occasion, which keeps him just 30 points behind the maximum score of the championship leader. A similar string of successes came to a halt for the Mini ROK driving force that is Tudor Jercan (Formula K RO), a DNF in Race 3 last time around bringing his rivals a bit closer in the standings.
Senior ROK sees a year-long feud between Costin Tudor Ion (Real Racing) and Andrew Denis Boriceanu (Drinago Racing) who shared all the victories until now, while in Junior ROK there are two racers that displayed the speed required to challenge Kevin VlÄsceanu (Toka Racing)'s series of five consecutive wins.
The third round of the season will be broadcast live on national television (PRO X) and the championship's social media channels this weekend.
