Competition heats up

08-06-2021

Bradley Steyn racing his Kosmic, continued his good form with a clean sweep of wins in all three Mini Rok heats in round 2 of the Rok Cup Zimbabwe Championship. He didn’t have it all his own way as a technical issue gave him a scare in qualifying with only 4th overall. Steady progress in the first heat saw him work his way to the front.

Antoine Adeloye, who qualified on pole, and Tawana Shambare raced in close company all day with Antoine eventually gaining the upper hand with second position and Tawana finishing in a strong third position.

Austin Tigere, Guy Leliard, Adrian Beddies-Zekas and newcomer Ethan Wushe produced the closest racing of the day with positions changing continuously in all three heats, with only 2 points separating them at the end of the day. Matthew Mukori and Tino Mutengwa both had a difficult race day.

The championship points remain extremely close with everything to play for!
