South African National – Mini Rok 2nd Round Western Province

19-05-2017

The South African National championship for the Mini Rok class arrives in the Western Province on Thursday 18th May 2017 until Saturday evening (20th May 2017) when the race results will be posted.

This SA National for the Mini Rok class will be hosted by the Western Province Motor Club Karting section as this event doubles up as it is a Western Province Regional Karting event.

A strong Western Province contingent of competitors, Kyle Visser, Kia Van Zijl, Denis Joubert, Joaquin De Oliveira, Tate Bishop, Jason McBeath and Julius Schwager are to tackle the ultra-fast 60cc Mini Rok Class against their out of town compatriots…. This certainly will be a Western Province versus the rest of the Country with the out of town competitors wanting to prove and showcase their talents away from their respective Provinces.

As we stand after the first round Mini Rok leaders, Leyton Fourie, Daniele Patrizi, Jarrod Waberski and Kwanda Mokoena (All Gauteng drivers) will have their work cut out against the Western Province competitors.

Up for grabs will be the bragging rights for the winning competitor as no-one wants to be beaten by an out of town competitor on their home circuit.  Who will be the Mini Rok “KING of KILLARNEY” after the dust has settled on the 20th May 2017?

Importantly, who will walk away the points leader of the South African National Championship after this event and the leader after two rounds of the Mini Rok class…… Time will tell!
