Targu Secuiesc gave a better idea of the 2025 title fights

Round 4 of the Romanian ROK Cup took place at the Skat Kart circuit in Covasna County, a fast and flowing track that several contenders call home.

The recent trend at Micro ROK has been maintained: Andrei Ștefan Rebenciuc (BRT) is in good enough shape to sit between Adam Diaconu (BRT) and Dragoș Ciuleanu (7Motorsport), thus ensuring his teammate's escape in the general classification. The three drivers shared their victories on the Skat Kart track, but the calculations would have been completely different if Ciuleanu had not received a 3-second penalty at the first start, which relegated him from 1st to 6th in the classification of that heat.

Mini ROK gathered 17 participants, but in Târgu Secuiesc the local favorite left nothing to chance. Gergo Buzas (CSSK) triumphed in 3 out of 4 races, being in second place in the one won by Andreas Drugău (Gulstar Racing). However, a bad result in the last race caused Drugău to be outscored in this round by Șerban Vizitiu (BRT). In the general classification, Radu Băsescu-Pricop (Real Racing) and Darren Betea (7Motorsport) lost ground to Buzas. The Mini ROK Lady trophy went to Antonia Vidican (Vidi Top Sport).

11 drivers entered the Junior ROK arena. On this circuit as well, the superiority of Robert Pulbere (Gulstar Racing) was evident. He claimed two heats, the others being won by Sonia Crivoiruc (Real Racing) and Călin Costea (Gulstar Racing). Costea remains ahead in the category classification, with a considerable margin. The silver medal of the round went, after adding up the four results, to Rareș Constantin Fiscutean (Drinago Racing), author of three heat podiums.

Saturday brought two victories for Eric Bălan (Formula K RO) in Senior ROK, each time followed by Alexandru Zănescu (JMS Performance), who took points away from his direct rival, Mihnea Lorent (Real Racing). A big surprise followed on Sunday: Zănescu's absence, which allowed Lorent to recover all the deficit and move ahead in the general classification. The heats were won by Istvan Dezso (JMS Performance) and Bălan once more, who thus also took the overall weekend victory.
