ROK Talk Show: 48,000 followers for the 7^th round of the ROK Cup Italy

The 2025 season of the ROK Talk Show continues. The eighth episode of the web program dedicated to the ROK Cup post-race coverage, focusing on the seventh round of the ROK Cup Italy run in Franciacorta – aired last Thursday, August 7, at 9:00 p.m. on our Facebook page – reached over 48,000 people (as of August 11, 2025).

Once again, Mara Sangiorgio, Sky Sport F1 journalist and karting enthusiast, discussed and examined the race weekend, supported by detailed highlights of all seven categories on track (Mini ROK U10, Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK, Expert ROK, Super ROK, and Shifter ROK), as well as interviews with the main protagonists, immediately after the podium ceremonies.

Among the most exciting challenges there is the fight for the Expert ROK title between Andrea Sorbello and Alessandro Viganò. In race 1, it is Viganò who crosses the finish line first, while in race 2, a retirement prevents him to run for the victory, allowing Sorbello to consolidate, at least for the moment, his championship lead with one round to go. “I'm sorry I retired in Race 2 because I was gaining important points on my direct opponent. The recovery was minimal,” are Viganò's words at the end of the race.

Also noteworthy is Faidon Papafilippou's first championship success in the Junior ROK class, who has described his final race as follows: “I started from the outside line, but on the first lap I performed the overtakes that allowed me to take the lead. In the final stages, I was able to defend my position, closing the trajectories, and winning the race.”

Furthermore, the ROK Talk Show has once again put some of the Super ROK drivers to the test with a quiz dedicated to the Vortex single-brand world. On the other hand, the original challenge confirming the Rokkers' skills and reflexes has been extended to all categories. How?
