Approved ROK Cup 2026 regulations

The new regulations for the ROK Cup 2026 have been approved by ACI SPORT. Here below you can find all the information and updates regarding the main changes introduced for the new season.

The Technical and Sporting Regulations of the ROK Cup 2026 brand Trophy, as well as the identification sheets (technical sheets) of the ROK engines have been approved by ACI SPORT.

REGULATIONS
Confirmations and changes of the Sporting Regulations are as follows:

SPORTING REGULATIONS:

ROK Cup Italia: Consists of 8 rounds. To enter the championship ranking it is mandatory to take part in 5 rounds at least, the final ranking will include the best 5 results.

Mini ROK U10 and Mini ROK categories, Art.5.1
As in previous seasons, the Mini ROK and Mini ROK U10 categories will have a limited number of participants; engines will be supplied by the Promoter by drawing lots. The maximum number of drivers allowed for each round of the ROK Cup Italia, in each category, is 36.
Depending on the number of drivers verified in the two categories, they could be merged for certain stages or even compete together for the entire race. In the latter case, they will compete with separate rankings.

Entry Fee Art. 3.1 page 2: Following the new ACI provisions relating to the increase in insurance fees, the entry fees have been updated.

Race Procedure:
The ROK Cup Italia race format has changed and now includes:

  • Official practice
  • Qualifying heats (if the number of drivers exceeds the track capacity)
  • Pre-final (not run if qualifying heats are held)
  • Final

ROK Cup Superfinal 2026:
The ROK Cup Superfinal is a one-round competition, scheduled on several days, with limited and selected enrolments; entries are by invitation only.
The race will be attended by Italian and foreign drivers, qualified drivers (with reserved seat, i.e. having received a prize/recognition previously agreed with the Promoter) and wild card drivers, selected by the Promoter according to its own criteria.
Wild card drivers interested in participating in the ROK Cup Superfinal must meet the following admission requirements:

  • having taken part in at least 5 ROK Cup Italia 2026 races;

or

  • having taken part in an official 2026 ROK Cup Championship recognised by the Promoter (the minimum number of races to attend is defined by the Championship Organiser)

We remind you that the possession of the admission requirements doesn’t guarantee the participation in the event, which is subject to the limited number of each category.

The changes concerning the Technical Regulations and the Engine Identification Sheets / Technical Sheets are:

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS:

Mini ROK and MINI ROK U10 categories:
The possibility of renting the Mini ROK or Mini ROK U10 engine kit, by drawing lots for the entire ROK Cup Italia Championship has been confirmed for 2026, with the acquisition of the right to early registration.

For all categories:
The mandatory use of OTK-marked sprockets has been introduced.
The maximum percentage (%) of ENI Kart 2T oil for the fuel mixture has been set at 6%.

ENGINE Identification sheets / TECHNICAL SHEETS
Concerning the engine identification sheets (technical sheets), here are the main changes/additions:

Identification sheet (technical sheet) ROK Mini / ROK Mini U10 engine:
The technical sheet is valid for both the Mini ROK and Mini ROK U10 engines, used respectively in the Mini ROK and Mini ROK U10 categories.

  • Page 4: we have included the mandatory requirement to use at least one gasket between the cylinder and the engine crankcase.
  • Page 8: we have removed the photos of the Crank Pin (Options 1, 2, 3); the drawing still remains.
  • Page 17: we have added the drawing of the Mini ROK U10 exhaust manifold control gauge.

Identification sheet (technical sheet) ROK GP Junior engine:
The sheet is valid for the ROK Gp Junior engine used for the Junior ROK category.

  • Page 3:  we have included the mandatory requirement to use at least one gasket between the cylinder and the engine crankcase.
  • Page 8: we have removed the photos of the Crank Pin (Options 1, 2, 3); the drawing still remains.
  • Page 17: We have included a quote in the drawing of the Exhaust Slide Valve.

Identification sheet (technical sheet) ROK SVR engine:
the technical sheet is valid for the ROK SVR engine employed in the Senior ROK, Expert ROK and Expert ROK Plus categories.

  • Page 3:  we have included the mandatory requirement to use at least one gasket between the cylinder and the engine crankcase.
  • Page 24: we have included the option 2 for the inlet silencer, model KG Power Base 23, therefore, the inlet silencer model KG Nitro 23, already present, becomes option 1.

Identification sheet (technical sheet) ROK DVS engine:
the technical sheet is valid for the ROK DVS engine employed in the Super ROK category.

  • Page 3:  we have included the mandatory requirement to use at least one gasket between the cylinder and the engine crankcase.
  • Pages 5 and 6: option 1 for the piston and option 1 for the cylinder head and combustion chamber has been removed (therefore, only the head and piston, indicated by option 2 in the identification sheet dated 2025 which is now not referred as an option).
  • Page 5: option 2 of the piston ring has also been added.
  • Page 9: we have removed the photos of the Crank Pin; the drawing still remains.

Identification sheet (technical sheet) ROK Shifter engine:
the technical sheet is valid for the ROK Shifter engine employed in the Shifter ROK category.

As previously said, the identification sheet has been updated in order to make the Technical Regulation more flexible, changing the previous approach. In this update, the technical references have been significantly simplified; as a result, any checks by the Technical Marshall will be based exclusively on the components clearly indicated in the engine identification sheet.

  • Page 2: we have modified the technical information and characteristics. The weight of conrod has been updated: 130 g +/- 5 g.
  • Page 3: we have removed the drawings of: cylinder section and exhaust gasket and have added details of the piston segment.
  • Page 4: we have removed the Squish.
  • Page 5: we modified the crankshaft weight tolerance.
  • Page 6: we added the drawing of the conrod and removed the three photos of the three crank pin options, keeping only the drawing.
  • the 2026 technical sheet does not include the detail photo of the Crankshaft oil seal position
  • the 2026 technical sheet does not include the View of the Crankcase.
  • Page 10: we have merged the drawings of the reed valve pack and reed valve cover and gasket (we left the drawing but removed the photos of the reed valve cover and gasket).
  • we have removed the pages about the reed valve cover drawing, pictures and marking of the reed valves.
  • Page 11: merged in the same page: exhaust with dimension of collector including welding/external chordal size and weight, together with photo and marking of the exhaust.
  • Page 12: merged in the same page: silencer and components and exhaust manifold.
  • Page 14: removed the instructions on how to use the fuel pump.
  • Page 15: the new KG Power Base 30 inlet silencer and its rain cover have been introduced (page 16), replacing the Arrow model.
  • Page 17: PVL ignition has been removed; only Selettra ignition remains.
  • the 2026 technical sheet does not include the image of the spark plug to be used.
  • the 2026 technical sheet does not include the water pump’s pulley neither the water pump.
  • The text valid for the technical sheet has been changed at the bottom of the page (all pages).
