ROK Talk Show: more than 50,000 followers for the round 6 of the ROK Cup Italia, too

The success of the 2026 season of the ROK Talk Show – the web programme dedicated to post-race coverage of the ROK Cup by Vortex – shows no sign of slowing down. The seventh episode, which aired on our Facebook page last Thursday, 9 July, reached over 50,000 people (figures as at 13 July 2026).

Once again, with the dynamic Mara Sangiorgio – Sky Sport F1 journalist and keen karting enthusiast – the programme looked back at the sixth round of the ROK Cup Italia, held at 7 Laghi Kart in Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV) on 4–5 July, featuring highlights from the championship’s seven categories (Mini ROK U10, Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK, Expert ROK, Super ROK and Shifter ROK), next to the interviews with the key competitors.

Among them, Zev Godschalk had this to say about his victory in the Mini ROK U10: “Qualifying didn’t go badly – I finished third – although I struggled a bit to set a fast time. I was quick in the pre-final and won it, while in the final I was a bit nervous. I had to defend my position in the early stages, and there were a few battles in the final laps, but I managed to win.”

The Mini ROK final was extremely closely fought, as winner Filippo Frigerio explained: “The final didn’t start very well because I started third. I then overtook Mathias Drexler, stayed right on Edoardo Galimberti’s tail, and the three of us battled it out. On the final lap, Edoardo tried to overtake me, but I managed to cut across him and win.”

Riccardo Salemi, who had led the Senior ROK class throughout the weekend, faced a few difficult moments in the final: “Starting from pole position certainly helped. I struggled at the start because Riccardo Brangero was always close behind, but then, lap after lap, I managed to increase the gap and was able to control the race in the final laps.”

Gabriele Bensi, too, after leading the qualifying and pre-final in the Shifter ROK class, had to face a more challenging final: “At the start, I lost concentration for a moment and was overtaken by Mateo Moni, who jumped with a brilliant start. Fortunately, by the end of the first lap I’d managed to regain the lead. I could have made better use of my lead; I had a few difficulties at certain points on the track, but overall it went very well”.

The episode also featured two in-depth segments: a feature on the checks carried out by Vortex Engines on every single engine in the Mini ROK U10 and Mini ROK categories at the end of each race weekend, and a technical report in which the Rokkers shared some set-up tips to adopt on days with high temperatures.
